From 5 Sundarikal to Kayyethum Dhoorathu: 5 Biggest Flop Movies Of Malayalam Superstar Fahadh Faasil

The film '5 Sundarikal ' is an anthology consisting of five segments that explore different aspects of love. Directed and filmed by some of the talented filmmakers like Shyju Khalid, Aashiq Abu, Sameer Thahir, Amal Neerad, and Anwar Rasheed and it starred many big stars in the industry. It gives priority to the female perspective and shows how they are handling a balanced life in society. Released in theaters in 2013 and got a negative response from the audience. If reports are to be believed, the movie '5 Sundarikal' was a flop at the box-office.

The weak script with hazy treatment and poor dialogue are the major reason behind the failure of the movie 'Mariyam Mukku'. Featuring Fahadh Faasil and Sana Althaf in lead roles, and directed by James Albert, the film failed to leave its mark on the box office collections. The film also marked the directorial debut of James Albert, who is previously written screen play for the blockbuster hit movie 'Classmates'.

Directed by V.K.Prakash,  the film 'Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla' tells a story about a person who has a strong passion to become a writer. But, when it turned out to be a reality he lost his control and created another world for the imaginary character by himself.  The movie is quite hilarious for its sarcasm on the entire society and all. It will never discuss on any big social issues, but give more importance to the attitudes of men and their perspective on life.  Written by Shankar Ramakrishnan, the film featured Fahadh Faasil, Kamalinee Mukherjee, and Rima Kallingal in significant roles. Talking about its box-office collection, the film was declared as below average movie, which failed to impress the audience.

According to reports, the film Haram was declared a flop at the box office. Directed and scripted by Vinod Sukumaran, it starred actors Fahadh Faasil and Radhika Apte in lead roles. The reports mentioned the movie was slow and there was nothing enticing to hold the audience's interest.

Fahadh Faasil marked his debut in M-Town with ‘Kaiyethum Doorathu' but the movie didn't do well and his performance in the movie was highly criticized. The film also marked the first collaboration of the actor with his father and filmmaker Faasil before 'Malayalan Kunjhu'.
