From Epic Dramas To Action Thrillers: Malayalam Movies You Can Watch In Theatres This November 2025

Mohanlal’s multilingual period epic Vrusshabha is set to hit theatres on November 6, 2025. Directed by Kannada filmmaker Nanda Kishore, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, CK Padma Kumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abishek S Vyas, Praveer Singh, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta. Alongside Mohanlal, the movie features Samarjit Lankesh, Ragini Dwivedi, and Nayan Sarika in key roles. The film’s music is composed by Sam CS, with dialogues written by SRK, Janardhan Maharshi, and Karthik. The technical crew includes Resul Pookutty leading the sound design, Antony Samson as the cinematographer, and KM Prakash handling the editing.

The upcoming comedy entertainer Innocent, starring Althaf Salim, is set to hit theatres on November 7, 2025. Directed by debutant Satheesh Thanvi, the film also marks the Malayalam debut of Tanzanian social media personality Kili Paul. Megastar Mammootty’s much-anticipated thriller drama Kalamkaval is set to release in theatres on November 27, 2025. Directed by Jithin K Jose and jointly scripted by Jithin and Jishnu Sreekumar, the film also features Vinayakan in a prominent role alongside Mammootty. Backed by Mammootty Kampany and distributed in Kerala by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, Kalamkaval boasts a strong technical team with Faisal Ali handling cinematography, Praveen Prabhakar in charge of editing, and music composed by Mujeeb Majeed of Kishkindha Kaandam fame.
