Nivin Pauly–starrer horror-comedy Sarvam Maya has emerged as one of the most loved feel-good films of 2025. The film achieved a major box office milestone by collecting ₹50 crore worldwide within just five days of its release.  The film has also secured the third-biggest opening weekend of 2025 in Kerala, collecting Rs 17.9 crore and ranking behind Mohanlal’s L2 Empuraan and Thudarum.

Kalamkaval, which hit theatres on December 5, 2025, entered the ₹50 crore club globally in just five days. The action thriller is helmed by debutant Jithin K. The fantasy thriller features Kalyani Priyadarshan in a lead role and marks the first instalment of Dulquer Salmaan’s ambitious Wayfarer Cinematic Universe.

Mohanlal’s latest thriller Thudarum entered the ₹50 crore club within just eight days of its release. Directed by Tharun Moorthy, the film sees Mohanlal playing Shanmugham, a taxi driver whose life spirals into chaos after his car is taken into police custody. The film also stars Shobhana, marking her much-awaited on-screen reunion with Mohanlal after a gap of 15 years.

L2: Empuraan, the much-anticipated sequel to Lucifer, became the fastest Malayalam film to enter the ₹50 crore club in Kerala, achieving the milestone within just five days of its grand release. Produced by Aashirvad Cinemas and Sree Gokulam Movies, the film features a powerful ensemble cast that includes Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Indrajith Sukumaran, Abhimanyu Singh, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, and Sachin Khedekar in key roles.
