The supernatural comedy Gharwali Pedwali on ZEE5 features Paras Arora as Jeetu Pandey, Priyamvada Kant as the ghostly first wife Latika, and Seerat Kapoor (earlier Niharika Roy) as his modern wife, Savi. The supporting cast includes Richa Soni, Harsh Vashisht, Amitabh Ghanekar, Babloo Kesto Mukherjee, Geeta Bisht, Brijbhushan Tiwari, Lota Tiwari, Priyamvada Singh, Sudeep Sarangi, and Ankur Jain. Gharwali Pedwali is a supernatural comedy that follows Jeetu Pandey, whose wedding day takes a bizarre turn when he is forced to marry a Peepal tree to fix his horoscope. Unbeknownst to him, the tree is possessed by Latika, a mischievous ghost who becomes his “first wife.” Chaos ensues as Jeetu tries to manage his ghostly spouse alongside his modern wife, Savi, leading to hilarious situations, family drama, and supernatural mischief.

Seerat Kapoor replaced Niharika Roy in Gharwali Pedwali as Savi, the modern “Gharwali” in the show’s love triangle. Niharika had to exit before the series aired due to health issues, after fainting on set during initial shoots. Seerat Kapoor stepped in to portray the confident, spirited Gen Z character.
