Happy Birthday Rishab Shetty: From Struggles to Stardom

Shetty was born in the village of Keradi, in the Kundapura taluk of the Udupi district of Karnataka. He attended the Arts & Science College of the Bhandarkars in Kundapura before transferring to the Government Film and TV Institute in Bangalore to obtain a diploma in film directing.

In order to sustain himself after college and pursue a career in film, Shetty undertook a number of strange duties. He worked in real estate, the hotel sector, and water can distribution. Additionally, he took part in theatrical plays and served as an assistant director on a few films.

In the same year, he released his subsequent film, "Kirik Party," which went on to become one of the highest-grossing Kannada films ever, and he again received the Best Director Award at the SIIMA Awards. Later, he wrote and directed Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu, and Koduge: Ramanna Rai, which made the audience turn towards him and made the people recognise his distinct directing skill.

Shetty's journey to pan-Indian success can be considered an array of activities, including his knack for performing, expertise for picking top-notch stories, and commercial intelligence. He was ultimately made with a 20 crore budget, but the unexpected Magalorian subject captured audiences' attention for its naturalism, and the movie steadily grossed 400 crores on the worldwide stage.

The most anticipated film in Indian cinema, Kantara-2 (Prequel), will be released in theatres on January 20, 2024. But aside from that, he has signed numerous projects, such as Bell Bottom 2, Rudra Prayag, Laughing Buddha, and Nathuram, which will also be a highly anticipated film due to Rishab's massive fan following.
