Hindi OTT Releases This Week: Saali Mohabbat, Single Papa, And more on Netflix, JioHotstar, Others

The new fictional sports drama web series Real Kashmir Football Club is currently streaming on Sony LIV via OTTplay Premium, having been released on 8th December. Inspired by the true story of a Kashmiri Hindu Pandit and a Kashmiri Muslim who came together to form the region’s first professional football club, the series follows their journey of building a team with young rookies and overcoming challenges in a competitive league. The show stars Manav Kaul and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in the lead roles.

Saali Mohabbat is a suspense drama film set to release on ZEE5 on December 12, 2025. Directed by Tisca Chopra in her directorial debut, the film stars Radhika Apte as Smita and Divyenndu Sharma as a local police officer, Ratan. Set in the small town of Fursatgarh, the story follows Smita, a sheltered housewife whose life is turned upside down by a shocking double murder. As Ratan suspects her involvement, the film unfolds into a tense cat-and-mouse thriller exploring themes of betrayal, infidelity, and moral ambiguity.

Kesariya @ 100 is a documentary series on ZEE5 that traces the 100-year journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Hosted by Dr. Nitish Bharadwaj, the series explores the history, evolution, and socio-cultural impact of the organization through historical footage, expert insights, grassroots stories, and cinematic recreations. It highlights lesser-known aspects of the RSS, from its founding vision by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar to its relief efforts and community-building initiatives over the past century.

Single Papa is a new Hindi comedy-drama series streaming on Netflix from December 12, 2025, starring Kunal Kemmu as Gaurav Gehlot (“GG”). Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Ishita Moitra, and Neeraj Udhwani, the show also features Manoj Pahwa, Neha Dhupia, Ayesha Raza Mishra, and Prajakta Koli. The series follows Gaurav, a recently divorced “man-child,” who surprises his family by deciding to adopt a baby. 

The Great Shamsuddin Family is a new Hindi comedy-drama set to premiere on JioHotstar on December 12, 2025. Directed and written by Anusha Rizvi, the film (or series) stars Kritika Kamra as Bani Ahmed, along with Farida Jalal, Sheeba Chaddha, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Juhi Babbar Soni, Purab Kohli, and Manoj Pahwa. The story follows Bani, a writer facing a critical 12-hour deadline for her dream job in the USA, whose day turns chaotic when her large, opinionated family arrives unannounced, bringing feuds, emergencies, and drama.
