If Wishes Could Kill is a young adult horror series that mixes suspense, drama, and supernatural elements. The story follows high school students who receive dangerous predictions from a mysterious wish-granting app. Along with its dark and thrilling plot, the show also explores teenage emotions like love, jealousy, and peer pressure, while adding occult elements and action to keep the story exciting. 

The series stars Jeon So-young as Yoo Se-ah, a determined student investigating the mysterious app, alongside Kang Mi-na, Baek Sun-ho, Hyun Woo-seok, and Lee Hyo-je, who play her close circle of friends caught in the app’s dangerous game. If Wishes Could Kill follows five students at Seorin High School whose lives spiral into danger after discovering a mysterious app called Girigo, which promises to grant their deepest wishes. However, every wish comes with a deadly price, a countdown to death, often starting within 24 hours. As strange deaths begin to occur, Yoo Se-ah, played by Jeon So-young, leads the group in uncovering the truth behind the app and trying to break its curse. Blending supernatural elements, dark secrets, and intense school dynamics, the 8-episode series delivers a gripping mix of horror and suspense.
