Based on the real incident '1971 Beyond Borders' depicts the life of Param Vir Chakra recipients who have lost their life while battling against Pakistan. Directed by Major Ravi, it featured actor Mohanlal in the lead role. The actor who essayed the role of ' Colonel Mahadevan 'who showcases  the rationale behind warfare and explains soldiers are humans off the battlefield. The film is an emotion of the soldiers and their struggles about how they lost their life to save our country. Apart from Mohanlal, Tollywood actor Allu Sirish appeared in a significant role in the movie. There is no doubt the film will surely touch the viewers because it added too much of a dramatic feel to its content. And it also makes the audience feels to cry.

The movie narrates the story of army men and  showcases his perspective and emotions while doing their job at the border. The feel-good patriotic movie which is directed by Major Ravi and featured Prithviraj and Javed Jaffrey in the significant roles. It also deals with the psychological effect the situation along the border has on soldiers, than the war itself. Released in theaters in 2015 and got positive responses from the audience and critics. As per the reports, the film had collected Rs 5.7 crores at the box-office.

Inspired by true events, Veeraputhran is a biopic movie, which depicts the life of Mohammed Abdul Rahiman, a legend freedom fighter who headed the Khilafat Movement during 1934. Like a pure patriotic movie, it also shows that how Indians who have raised their voices against the colonial atrocities.

Starring Mammootty in the titular role, 'Pazhassi Raja' is one of the most expensive movies ever made in Malayalam cinema. Directed by Hariharan, the film also featured amny prominent and talented actors in Malayalam and Tamil industry. Released in theaters in 2009 and the movie declared as huge success at the box-office. Many sacrifice their lives for their motherland in heart-breaking scenes in the movie,  that will make you cry buckets.

Major Ravi the director has scripted the movie 'Kandahar' which inspired from the controversial Kandahar hijack that took India by storm in 1999. Starring Mohanlal in the lead role, the actor who performed very well on the big-screen. The film was a surprise to the audience with a special appearance of Bollywood Big B Amitabh Bachchan. Apart from this, actors Sumalatha, Ragini Dwivedi and KPAC Lalitha also played supporting roles in the movie.

Priyadarshan's 'Kalappani' is considered as one of the best classic movies ever made in Malayalam. The drama, which takes place between 1910 and 1960, centers on 150 000 prisoners who are held in the infamous cellular jail in the Andaman Islands. Govardhan, a doctor who was wrongly accused of being responsible for a bombing that claimed the lives of 55 persons riding in a train with a British officer, is one of the convicts. Written and directed by Priyadarshan, the movie featured Mohanlal in the lead role. It is important to note that the “Kaalapani” movie was a multilingual cinema but was not popular. Apart from Malayalam , it was dubbed in several languages, including Hindi.
