Helmed by Aneesh Upaasana, the movie stars actor Saiju Kurupp and Navya Nair in the lead roles. Billed as a family drama, it also marked comeback of director Aneesh Upaasana, after seven years of gap. The script is penned by director Aneesh Upaasana along with Anil Narayanan and Rohan Raj. Apart from Saiju Kurup, the movie features an ensemble cast including Johny Antony, Sharafudeen , Kottayam Nazeer, Anarkali Marikar, George Kora and Pramod Veliyanadu in significant roles.

As per the latest resources, the film 'Janaki Jaane' released on the OTT platform Disney + Hotstar from 11 July 2023. It is available in four languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Directed by Aneesh Upaasana, the film was released in theaters, clashed with Tovino Thomas's latest release '2018' and only got limited screens.

The movie tells the story of woman named Janaki, who is afraid of everything. She fears to sleep alone in the room without light and keep distance from others. Janaki who always try to rejects all marriage proposals due to her fear about future. But it turns changed when she find a man, who knows about her more than she think.
