Deepika Padukone debuted in South Indian cinema with the highly anticipated Tamil film Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin. The film is a futuristic sci-fi epic with a star-studded cast, including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. Deepika’s role was a significant milestone, not just as her first major South Indian project. She played the role of pregnant women in Kalki, which was appreciable.
Disha Patani is set to make her debut in Tamil cinema with Kanguva, a big-budget historical action film starring Suriya and directed by Siva. In 2015, she made her debut with Telugu movie Loafer and now she will be in Kanguva. This movie will be released on 14 November 2024.
Kiara Advani is set to make a splash in South Indian cinema with Game Changer, directed by S. Shankar. Her first Telugu film alongside superstar Ram Charan, Game Changer is a high-stakes political thriller that promises intense drama, action, and powerful performances. This movie will be released on 10 January 2025.
