King Of Kotha Box Office Collection: Hit or Flop, Review & Budget

King of Kotha was released on the big screen on August 25 as an Onam release and failed to impress the audience and called it a big flop. The movie reportedly made Rs 15.35 crore at the domestic box office. Other than from Indian audiences, the film had made Rs 15.9 crore. The sum of King of Kotha's box office receipts is approximately Rs 40 crore. Directed by Abhilash Joshiy, marks his directorial debut and is produced by Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios. The film featured Dulquer Salmaan and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead roles.

The movie has its first-day gross collection of Rs 4 crores at the Indian box-office. These numbers include Rs. 6 crores from Kerala and Rs. 3 crores from the rest of India. Apart from Kerala, the movie earned Rs. 1.40 crores from Andhra and Telangana States. It also earned Rs. 90 lakhs from Tamil Nadu and Rs. 60 lakhs from Karnataka. If reports are to be believed the movie earned Rs. 17 crores at the worldwide box office.

Reports have revealed that the movie is one of the biggest disasters released this year. While everyone was hoping for Dulquer Salmaan and Aishwarya Lekshmi to do wonders at the box office, it ended up being a huge disappointment. The film was a  complete disaster and the only good thing about the movie were the songs.
