The movie reportedly made Rs 15.35 crore at the domestic box office. Other than from Indian audiences, the film had made Rs 15.9 crore. The sum of King of Kotha's box office receipts is approximately Rs 40 crore. Directed by Abhilash Joshiy, marks his directorial debut and is produced by Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios. The film featured Dulquer Salmaan and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead roles.
KOK First Day Box Office Collection
The movie has its first-day gross collection of Rs 4 crores at the Indian box-office. These numbers include Rs. 6 crores from Kerala and Rs. 3 crores from the rest of India. Apart from Kerala, the movie earned Rs. 1.40 crores from Andhra and Telangana States. It also earned Rs. 90 lakhs from Tamil Nadu and Rs. 60 lakhs from Karnataka. If reports are to be believed the movie earned Rs. 17 crores at the worldwide box office.
