King Of Kotha, Corona Dhavan and more: 5 Mollywood Movies Releasing On Onam 2023 In Theaters

After back-to-back blockbusters, Dulquer Salmaan is all set to enthrall his fans with his next release, Velipadinte Pusthakam, which marks the first Pan-Indian movie of the actor after the success of Sita Ramam. The talented actor who appears as a gangster leader in the movie,  is directed by Abhilash Josy, the son of veteran Malayalam filmmaker Joishy. Ponniyan Selvan actress Aishwarya Lekshmi is playing a lead role opposite Dulquer Salmaan in the film. Prasanna, Shammi Thilakan, Chemban Vinod, Gokul Suresh, Shanti Krishna, Anika Surendran, and Nyla Usha orm the ensemble cast of the entertainer, scripted by Abhilash N Chandran. The advance booking for the movie has already started in the last month. If reports are to be believed, the much-anticipated movie will make a great impact on the box-office collection. King Of Kotha is a pan-Indian movie that will be released in theaters on August 24,  as a Onam release.

After creating a buzz on social media platforms, the makers of the Malayalam film 'Jailer' have announced the release date. Helmed by director Sakkir Madathil, the film 'Jailer ' will clash with Rajnikanth's 'Jailer' on August 10. Featuring Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead role, the film sparked controversy about the title.

The film named 'Corona Dhavan' is a comedy entertainer which marks the directorial debut of C.C. Nithin. Starring Sreenath Bhasi and Lukhman Avaran in the lead roles, the film which revolves around the lives of people in a village called 'Aanathadam' and shows how their life changed after Covid-outbreak. The film's script is penned by Sujay Mohammed and is jointly produced by James John and Jerome John under the banner of Magic Frames. According to reports, the film will hit the big screen on August 4, 2023.

Debutant Sinto Sunny' directorial venture 'Pappachan Olivilaanu', starring Saiju Kurupp has locked in its release date. As per the latest reports, the film will hit the theaters on August 4 along with 'Corona Dhavan'. Written by the director himself, Pappachan Olivilaanu also features actors Aju Varghese, Darshana S. Nair,  Srinda, , Vijayaraghavan, Jagadish, Johny Antony, Shivaji Guruvayoor and  Kottayam Nazeer in key roles.

Kunjhammini's Hospital is a comedy-drama, helmed by Sanal Devan and it will be released in theaters on August 11. Featuring Indrajith Sukurmaran in the lead role and the scripted by Abhayakumar K and Anil Kurian, who earlier co-wrote Priyan Ottathilanu. Actor Prakash Raj will play a prominent role in the movie. Nyla Usha, Baburaj, and Sarayu, Harisree Ashokan, Binu Pappu, Biju Sopanam, James Eliya, Sudheer Paravoor, and Prashanth Alexander are also part of the cast.
