Dulquer Salmaan latest movie 'King Of Kotha' holds the record for the highest booking for a Malayalam film in India. According to reports, the advance booking sales for the movie crossed above Rs 3 crore in languages including Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu. Additionally, the movie sold Rs 43 lakh in advance tickets in the United Arab Emirates.
Mammootty's Christopher sold Rs 49.55 lakh tickets in Advance. The reports revealed that the overall the advance bookings for the movie was really average, because B Unnikrishnan and Udaykrishna's previous outing 'Aaraattu' was a huge disappointment.
As per reports, the film has emerged to be the highest advanced booked Malayalam movie in the Gulf countries. Hridayam is a musical-romantic drama, directed and written by Vineeth Sreenivasan. Released in 2022, and it became the first Malayalam blockbuster movie of that year.

Prithviraj Sukumaran's debut directorial 'Lucifer' is one of the highest-grossing movies in the Malayalam cinema. The film was released in theaters in 2019 and joined the Rs 100 crore club in just 8 days of its release. According to reports, the sold Rs 15.12 lakh tickets in advance.
