Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 2: Introducing the Fresh Star Cast of Smriti Irani’s Iconic Serial

The iconic television drama Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is back with Season 2 and is now streaming, reviving the magic of one of India’s most beloved serials. While Smriti Irani’s portrayal of Tulsi remains etched in the audience’s memory, the new season welcomes a fresh star cast ready to continue the legacy. Packed with drama, emotions, and unexpected twists, the show promises to keep viewers hooked once again.

Rohit Suchanti joins the cast of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, stepping into the role of Angad Virani, the son of Tulsi and Mihir. Best known for his lead performance as Rishi Oberoi in Ekta Kapoor’s hit series Bhagya Lakshmi, the actor is set to bring fresh energy and charm to this iconic family drama.

Shagun Sharma is playing Pari Virani, the daughter of Tulsi and Mihir, in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. A familiar face on Indian television, Shagun has showcased her talent in several popular serials, including Ishk Par Zor Nahi (2021) as Sonali Malhotra, Sasural Genda Phool 2 (2021–2022) as Tanya “Titli” Awasthi, Harphoul Mohini (2022) as Mohini Chaudhary, and Yeh Hai Chahatein (2023–2024) as IAS Kashvi Sabharwal, among many others.

Aman Gandhi, best known for his role in the television series Bhagya Lakshmi, will be seen as Hrithik Virani, the son of Tulsi and Mihir, in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. Over the years, Aman has showcased his versatility in several popular shows, including Sasural Simar Ka, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, D4 – Get Up and Dance, and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. 

Tanisha Mehta is playing Vrinda Patel in Ekta Kapoor’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. Portraying the love interest of Rohit Suchanti’s character, Angad Virani, Tanisha brings both charm and depth to the role. The actress is best known for her performances in shows like Lag Ja Gale (2023) as Ishani Kulkarni, Shubh Laabh  Aapkey Ghar Mein (2021–2022) as Shreya Toshniwal, and Aashiqana (2022).

Prachi Singh, who was earlier seen in the television series Pyaar Ki Raahein, will step into the role of Anandi Patel in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. With her fresh screen presence and promising talent, Prachi is expected to bring charm and emotion to her character in this much-anticipated sequel.

Ankit Bhatia joined the cast of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 as Vardaan Patel. With his talent and screen presence, Ankit is set to add a fresh dimension to the storyline, making his character one to watch in the much-anticipated sequel.
