Bollywood’s fitness icon Shilpa Shetty is set to return to the non-fiction digital space with Maa Hai Na on ZEE5. Announced earlier on Mother’s Day, the makers have now unveiled a fun-filled trailer along with the show’s streaming details. The 10-episode reality series blends cooking challenges with emotional and lighthearted family moments, highlighting the special bond between celebrity kids and their mothers.
The reality show brings together several popular personalities along with their mothers, adding a personal touch to the competition. The lineup includes Sunita Ahuja with her daughter Tina Ahuja, and television actress Urvashi Dholakia with her son Kshitij Dholakia. Social media personality Tanya Mittal also joins the show with her mother Sunita Mittal, while digital creator Gullu and food influencer Shahida Ansari add more flavor and diversity to the exciting mix.
According to the makers, Maa Hai Na is designed to deliver emotional yet relatable family entertainment for viewers. Comedians Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar will bring added humour to the episodes, enhancing the show’s lighthearted appeal. The series is set to stream worldwide on ZEE5 from June 12, 2026.
Produced by Lil Frodo Productions, the show captures the contrast between modern Gen Z lifestyles and traditional family values.
