L2: Empuraan
Helmed by actor-producer Prithviraj Sukumaran,the film ' L2: Empuraan' is the sequel part of blockbuster political thriller drama ' Lucifer'. It is one of the most-awaited projects of the actor this year. Written by Murali Gopi, the upcoming movie 'L2: Empuraan' produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas. As per the reports, the film will hit the screen in August 2023.
Ram
Touted to be an action drama, 'Ram' is the upcoming movie of actor Mohanlal. Written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film marks his reunion with actor Mohanlal after success of Drishyam 1 and Drishyam 2. The film features actor Mohanlal in the lead role. 'Ram' also marks comeback of actress Trish Krishnan to the industry after two years. Apart from this, Indrans, Smayuktha Menon, Adil Hussain, Durga Krishna, Saikumar and Suman plays in pivotal roles.

The movie, which touted to be a historic drama, marks Mohanlal's first collaboration with Lijo Jose Pellissery. According to reports,the actor who will be playing the role of wrestel in the movie. Written by P.S.Rafeeque, the first-look of the poster was revealed by the actor through his Twitter account on April 14th 2023. Madhu Neelakandan will handle the cinematography for the film. Deepu Joseph is in charge of editing and Prashanth Pillai composed music for the movie.
Barroz
Superstar Mohanlal's 'Barroz' is one of the highly-anticipated Malayalam movies of 2023. Billed as a fantasy movie, 'Barroz' marks the directorial venture of actor Mohanlal. Scripted by director Jijo Punnose, was based on a novel he wrote in 2017, about an Afro-Indian-Portuguese myth.Mohanlal who plays a protagonist role in the movie. As per the reports, ‘Minnal Murali’ fame Guru Somasundaram will appear in a key role.
Drishyam 3: The Conclusion
After success of two sequel, the actor is now getting ready for the third paart of the movie . Directed by Jeethu Joseph, 'Drishyam 1' and Drishyam '2 got positive responses from the audience. According to reports, the actor will seen in the upcoming movie 'Drishyam 3:The Conclusion'. Recently, in an interview the producer Anotony Perumbavoor mentioned about the project.
Jailer
According to reports, Mohanlal will be seen in a cameo role in the upcoming Tamil movie 'Jailer'. Superstar Rajnikanth who will playing a lead role in the movie, which directed by Nelson. It also features Tamannaah Bhatia, Vinayakan and Ramya Krishnan in key roles. 'Jailer' also marks first collaboration of actot Mohanlal with Rajnikanth.
