Reviving the charm of the original, Vaazha 2 expands on the 2024 coming-of-age drama with a fresh and engaging narrative. The film stars Hashir, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak in lead roles, following their brief appearances in the first installment. Directed by debutant Savin SA and written by Vipin Das, the film also features Alphonse Puthren, Sudheesh, and Vijay Babu in key roles. With cinematography by Akhil Lailasuran and editing by Kannan Mohan, the project is produced by Vipin Das, Harris Desom, P B Anish, Adarsh Narayan, and Icon Studios. Vaazha 2 hit theatres on April 2, 2026.
Mohiniyattam, starring Saiju Kurup, is set to hit theatres on April 10 as a Vishu release. A sequel to the 2024 film Bharathanatyam, the second installment is directed by Krishnadas Murali, who made his debut with the first part. longside Saiju Kurup, the film features Jagadish, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Vinay Forrt, and rapper Baby Jean in key roles. On the technical side, cinematographer Bablu Aju and editor Shafeeque V B return for the sequel, while Electronic Kili joins the team as the music composer.
The upcoming period drama is slated to hit theatres on April 10, 2026. Starring Tovino Thomas and Kayadu Lohar in lead roles, the film is directed by Dijo Jose Antony. The screenplay is written by S. Suresh Babu, with production handled by Noufal, Brijeesh, and the CCC Brothers under the banners of World Wide Films and C Cube Bros. On the technical front, cinematography is by Tijo Tomy, editing by Sreejith Sarang, and music composed by Jakes Bejoy.
Madhuvidhu, starring Sharaf U Dheen and Kalyani Panicker, is set to release in theatres on April 17, 2026. Directed by debutant Vishnu Aravind, the film is produced by Vinayaka Ajith under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films. Billed as a family entertainer, the movie is jointly written by Bibin Mohan and Jai Vishnu. It features music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, cinematography by Viswajith Odukkathil, and editing by Christy Sebastian.
