Malayalam Movies Releasing In Theaters & OTT In March 2025

Vadakkan is an upcoming Malayalam supernatural thriller set to hit theaters on March 7, 2025. Directed by A Sajeed and penned by Unni R, the film stars Kishore, Shruthy Menon, and Merin Philip in lead roles. The technical crew boasts acclaimed names, including Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty, cinematographer Keiko Nakahara, composer Bijibal, and lyricist BK Hari Narayanan.

Asif Ali's Rekhachithram made history as the first Malayalam blockbuster of 2025. Released on January 9, the film has achieved a remarkable milestone by crossing ₹75 crore at the box office, according to reports. Directed by Jofin T Chacko, this hit movie is now set for its much-awaited digital premiere on SonyLIV, with streaming beginning on March 7, 2025.

The much-anticipated Malayalam family drama Ouseppinte Osiyathu marks the directorial debut of Sarath Chandran RJ. Starring Vijayaraghavan, Dileesh Pothan, and Kani Kusruti, the film is produced by Maygoor Films, with Central Pictures handling distribution.
