Mandala Murders OTT: 5 Must Watch Thrillers Before Vaani Kapoor’s Upcoming Series

Mandala Murders is a mystery thriller series releasing on July 25 on Netflix. It follows detective Rhea Thomas (Vaani Kapoor) and her partner Vikram Singh (Vaibhav Raj Gupta) as they investigate a string of murders linked to an ancient secret society and a dark prophecy. The series also stars Surveen Chawla, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Siddhanth Kapoor, Raghubir Yadav, and Monica Choudhary.

The Night Manager follows Shaan Sengupta (Aditya Roy Kapur), a former Navy officer turned hotel manager, who gets caught in the dark world of arms dealing linked to powerful businessman Shelly Rungta (Anil Kapoor). The series also features Sobhita Dhulipala and Tillotama Shome. A second season is reportedly in the works.

Undekhi is a crime thriller series that begins with a murder at a high-profile wedding in Manali. As the investigation unfolds, deep secrets, power struggles, and corruption come to light. The show features Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Surya Sharma, Harsh Chhaya, and Anchal Singh in key roles.

Special Ops follows RAW agent Himmat Singh (Kay Kay Menon) as he hunts down the mastermind behind major terror attacks in India. Created by Neeraj Pandey, the second season shifts focus to cyber-espionage, where Himmat takes on a powerful businessman using spyware for economic control. The second season of Special Ops is streaming on JioHotstar. 

Asur is a crime thriller that follows forensic expert Dhananjay “DJ” Rajput (Arshad Warsi) as he investigates a string of murders linked to Hindu mythology and the demon Kali. The series, also starring Barun Sobti, Anupriya Goenka, Ridhi Dogra, and Sharib Hashmi, mixes myth with mystery, exploring the battle between good and evil.

The Freelancer follows Avinash Kamath, a former cop turned mercenary, on a high-risk mission to rescue Alia, a woman trapped in Syria after being misled into joining a terrorist group. Based on the book A Ticket to Syria, the series stars Mohit Raina, Anupam Kher, Kashmira Pardeshi, and Ayesha Raza Mishra.
