Most-awaited Malayalam Films Releasing In December 2023

'Antony' marks Joishy's second collaboration with Joju George after the success of 'Porinju Mariam Jose'.Billed as an action drama, it boasts a stellar cast featuring Joju George, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Nyla Usha, and Chemban Vinod Jose. Produced by Einstein Zach Paul under the Einstein Media banner, the film 'Antony' is penned by Rajesh Varma, known for his work in movies like Paisa Paisa, Life of Josutty, and Upacharapoorvam Gunda Jaya. Antony is a pan-Indian movie that will be released in theaters on December 1, 2023, in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

Directed by Sohan Seenu Lal, 'Dance Party' starring Sreenath Bhasi, Shine Tom Chacko and Prayaga Martin is releasing on December 1, 2023. The movie revolves around the story of a group of youngsters who are having the best of their lives with dance and parties. Produced by Naisy Reji and Reji Prothasis under the banner of Olga Productions, the film has music composed by Bijibal. Dance Party also stars Shraddha Gokul, Jolly Chirayat, Preeti, McCartin, Abhilash Pattalam, Narayanankutty, Binu Thrikakkara, Faisal, Shinil, Freddy and Thiru.

The upcoming comedy drama starring Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead role , will hit the theatres on December 8. Directed by Anil Lal, Cheena Trophy is produced by Anoop Mohan, Ashlin Mary Joy and Lijo Ulahannan under the banner of Presidential Movies Private Limited. Apart from Dhyan Sreenivasan, Cheena Trophy also stars  Chef Pillai, Jaffer Idukki, Sudheesh, KPAC Leela and Kenti Sirdo.

Rajni is a bilinugal movie, will be released in theaters on December 8, 2023 in both  Malayalam and Tamil language.  Billed as a thriller, the upcoming film is written and directed by Vinil Scariah and stars Kalidas Jayaram, Namitha Pramod, Reba Monica John, and Saiju Kurup in the prominent roles. The Tamil dialogues for 'Rajni' written by David K Rajan and Malayalam dialogues by Vincent Vadakkan, who penned the Fahadh Faasil-starrer Trance. The film is produced by Sreejith KS and Blessy Sreejith under the banner of Navarasa. RR Vishnu handles the cinematography, while Four Music takes charge of the musical composition.

'Neru' signifies the fifth collaboration between the formidable actor Mohanlal and the acclaimed director Jeethu Joseph, building on the success of the “Drishyam” franchise and “Ram.” This much-anticipated movie is poised as a courtroom drama, with Mohanlal set to embody the role of a lawyer.  Priyamani who will be seen in a female lead  in the movie, also marked her second collaboration with actor Mohanalal after 'Grandmaster'. If the reports are to be believed the film 'Neru' is all set to hit the theaters on December 21, 2023.

Scheduled for a theatrical release on December 1, 2023, the upcoming family drama stars Mukesh and Noble Babu Thomas in prominent roles. Notably, "Phillips" marks Mukesh's landmark 100th film in his illustrious career. This movie holds a special place as it's the final work of the late actor Innocent. Alongside Mukesh and Noble Babu Thomas, Navani Devanand and Quinn Vibin play pivotal roles.

Directed by debutant Darwin Kuriakose, the film is an investigative thriller in which Tovino plays a Sub-inspector named Anand Narayanan. Anveshippin Kandethum is scripted by Jinu V Abraham, who last penned the Prithviraj-starrer Kaduva. Apart from Tovino Thomas, the movie also features Indrans, Shammy Thilakan, Baburaj and Harisree Ashokan in supporting roles. While there are reports suggesting a December release for the movie, the official confirmation of the release date from the makers is still pending.
