Most Awaited South Indian OTT Releases This Week Karuppu, Dridam & Many More On Netflix, JioHotstar, SonyLiv and Others

Suriya’s blockbuster fantasy action drama Karuppu is set to begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, June 12, 2026. The film will be available globally in its original Tamil version, along with dubbed editions in Telugu (Veerabhadrudu), Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The RJ Balaji directorial stars Suriya and Trisha Krishnan in lead roles. Blending courtroom drama with rural folklore, the story follows a lawyer who becomes possessed by the guardian deity Karuppusamy to combat judicial corruption and protect the oppressed. A massive box office success, the film has grossed over ₹300 crore worldwide, making it the biggest hit of Suriya’s career.

The Malayalam crime thriller Dridam is set to premiere on OTT on June 12, 2026, and will be available exclusively on JioHotstar in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The film follows Vijay Radhakrishnan, a rookie Sub-Inspector whose quiet village posting spirals into chaos after a string of murders and a shocking bank robbery. Starring Shane Nigam in the lead, the film also features Shobi Thilakan, Krishna Prabha, Kottayam Ramesh, and Dinesh Prabhakar in key roles.

Telugu audiences can enjoy the same film under the title Veerabhadradu, which also premieres on June 12. The Telugu version mirrors the original story, focusing on a determined lawyer’s fight for justice alongside the unexpected intervention of Lord Veerabhadra in human form. Blending intense courtroom drama with mass-action elements and mythology, both versions deliver a powerful and engaging cinematic experience.

The much-loved Tamil romantic anthology series Sshhh is back with its third season, introducing a fresh ensemble cast and all-new stories. Known for its strong appeal among younger audiences, the show dives deep into modern relationships, unspoken desires, and emotional complexities. The Telugu romantic drama Ramani Kalyanam is set to premiere on Sun NXT on June 12, 2026. Starring Surya Vashistta as Raj and Deepshikha Chandran as Sanjana, and directed by Vijay Adireddy, the film originally hit theatres on May 22, 2026. It tells the heartfelt story of Sanjana, a visually impaired singer and RJ, and Raj, a wheelchair-bound man battling emotional trauma, as they find solace, healing, and love in each other’s company.
