Onam Box-office Collection Report: 'King Of Kotha', 'RDX' and 'Ramachandra Boss & Co'

This year Onam made a great impact on box-office collection after release of the three super star movies- 'King Of Kotha', 'RDX' and 'Ramachandra Boss & Co'. It was a clash at the box-office for Malayalam film with Dulquer Salmaan's 'King Of Kotha' and Antony Varghese's 'RDX'. Nivin Pauly's 'Ramachandra Boss & Co' also took the box-office. According to reports, the three movies were released in theaters as Onam special, entertained and impressed audiences in both inside and outside of the nation.

Dulquer Salmaan's gangster drama 'King Of Kotha' hit the theaters on August 24 and  became the biggest opener in Malayalam cinema. If reports are to be believed,the film had collected Rs 30 crores from the domestic box-office in its first weekend. Apart from this, the film had a huge opening overseas as well. Directed by Abhilash Joshiy, 'King of Kotha' is a gangster drama written by Abhilash N Chandran. The film starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role, produced by the actor under his banner of production house Wayfarer Films in collaboration with Zee Studios. The film also starred Prasanna, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Gokul Suresh and Nyla Usha in the supporting roles.
