Operation Safed Sagar recounts the true story of the Indian Air Force’s decisive role during the 1999 Kargil War, when it launched high-altitude air strikes for the first time to counter enemy infiltration across the Line of Control. As pilots braved extreme conditions above 18,000 feet, flying fighter jets and helicopters through harsh terrain and weather, the mission turned the tide with precision attacks using laser-guided bombs to destroy fortified enemy positions, ultimately contributing to India’s victory.
