Apple TV+ has officially confirmed that Pluribus will premiere worldwide on November 7, 2025, with a two-episode launch, followed by new episodes every Friday through December 26, 2025. Set in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Pluribus follows Carol Sturka (Rhea Seehorn), a historical romance author who discovers that she’s the only person immune to a mysterious phenomenon an unexplained virus that transforms the world’s population into perpetually content and optimistic beings. As the world around her becomes eerily utopian, Carol’s search for answers turns into a haunting exploration of free will, truth, and identity in a world where happiness is mandatory.
The series stars Rhea Seehorn as Carol Sturka, a role written specifically for her by Vince Gilligan. Joining her are Karolina Wydra as Zosia and Carlos Manuel Vesga as Manousos, with Miriam Shor appearing as Helen, Carol’s partner and manager. Seehorn’s emotionally layered portrayal anchors the story, bringing a blend of vulnerability and determination to a dystopian world filled with eerie calmness and quiet menace.
Pluribus is written, directed, and executive-produced by Vince Gilligan, produced under Sony Pictures Television for Apple TV+.
