Saaree OTT Release: Where to Watch Ram Gopal Varma’s Romantic Thriller Online

Ram Gopal Varma’s romantic thriller Saaree, featuring Aaradhya Devi in the lead role, hit theatres in April and received mixed reviews, though Aaradhya gained notable attention for her performance. The makers have now announced that the film’s OTT rights have been acquired by Lionsgate Play. Saaree will be available for streaming from July 9th in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam on Lionsgate Play’s official platform.

Saaree follows the story of Aaradhya Devi, a social media influencer who unknowingly attracts the obsessive attention of a photographer named Kittu. What starts as silent admiration turns into toxic obsession as Kittu begins stalking her, eventually leading to a disturbing turn of events. The plot highlights the dark side of social media fame, harassment, and emotional manipulation.

Aaradhya Devi, in her debut, delivers a composed and confident performance, especially in emotionally intense scenes. Her portrayal in traditional saree attire complements the film's title and theme. Satya Yadhu as Kittu overplays his role at times, pushing beyond the character’s limits, while the rest of the cast gives routine performances without much depth.

Directed by Giri Shankar Kamal, Saaree tries to explore a bold theme but struggles with execution. The background score adds intensity, and the cinematography captures a few strong visuals, especially in emotional and tense scenes. Art direction and locations suit the narrative, though the editing and storytelling remain inconsistent.
