Shraddha Arya was born on August 17, 1987, in New Delhi, India, and grew up in a middle-class Punjabi family. She completed her schooling in Delhi and later pursued a degree in Economics (Hons) from Delhi University. Passionate about performing arts since childhood, Shraddha moved to Mumbai to follow her acting dreams after completing her education, marking the beginning of her successful journey in the entertainment industry.

In 2015, Shraddha Arya got engaged to NRI Jayant Ratti, but the engagement was later called off due to compatibility issues. In 2019, she made her relationship with Alam Singh Makkar public when they participated together in the dance reality show Nach Baliye, but the couple parted ways soon after the show ended. On November 16, 2021, Shraddha tied the knot with Indian Navy Officer Rahul Nagal in an intimate ceremony in New Delhi.
