Suriya 42 Update: Title Announcement, Teaser and Release Date are out!

After creating buzz on social media platforms, Actor Surya announced his first-ever collaboration with director Siruthai on last year. Billed as a periodic action drama, the film is made up with a total budget of over 350 crores and it will be three times higher-than the actor's previous big-budget movie. Finally, after a long wait, the film makers revealed the title as ' Suriya 42' on twitter.

Directed by Siruthai Siva , the film features Suriya in lead role. Bollywood actress Disha Patani who appears in female role and marks the actress Tamil debut with the film. As per the reports, Ganavel Raja who is the producer of the film announced the teaser date of 'Suriya 42'. The most-awaited teaser of the film will be released on May 2023.

Like a complete  historic action drama, it features actor Suriya in a dual role. He is the presentation of two different periods in lead role.Bollywood actress Disha Patani plays female lead role in the film. Apart from this, actors Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, Anand Raj, Redin Kingsley and Ravi Raghavendra in key roles.

Touted to be a period-action drama, the film is one of the most expensive and anticipated movies for  this year. It will be a pan-India movie which features Suriya and Disha Patani in lead roles. 'Suriya 42' is a complete 3D release, in 10 different languages. According to the reports, 'Suriya 42' is set to release in theatres for Pongal in coming year.
