'Swatantra Veer Savarkar': Five Interesting Facts About Randeep Hood's Directorial Debut

Billed as a biopic, the film 'Swatantra Veer Savarkar' which depicts the real life of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, is a famous Hindu nationalist and freedom fighter in India's political history. According to reports, actor Randeep who will be seen in the title role in the movie. Randeep Hooda starrer ' Swatantra Veer Savarkar' is one of the highly anticipated Bollywood movies, which will be released in this year. 

'Swatantra Veer Savarkar' is an upcoming biopic movie in Hindi, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. The screen play is written by actor Randeep Hood along with Utkarsh Naithani. The film also marks the  directorial debut of the actor, who was last seen in the 2021 action-thriller drama 'Radhe'. It also considered as a dream project of the actor, who take great efforts to accomplish his dream. 

The film features Randeeo Hooda, Ankita Lokhande, Amit Sial and Apinderdeep Singh. Actor Randeep Hooda is essaying the role of 'Savarkar' in the movie. Meanwhile, Ankita Lokhande will be seen in the role of his wife  'Yamuna bai' in the movie. 

The much awaited-teaser of the film was released on the ocassion of freedom fighter V.D.Savarkar's 140th birth anniversary. Talking about teaser, it introduces the actor Randeep Hooda as Savarker. It also touches a controversial aspect by suggesting that Mahatma Gandhi's unwavering commitment to non-violence resulted in a significant delay of India's independence by 35 years.

Previously the release date of Veer Savarkar was 26 May, but later it was postponed by film makers. According to reports, the much awaited-film will be released in theaters this year. The release date of the movie will soon announce.
