Directed by Klim Shipenko the film 'The Challenge' is the first feature film shot in space. The film is a joint project of space agenecy Roscosmos and top Russian Tv network Channel One. According to reports, most of the sequences of the movie , were shot in the Russian module of the  International Space Station(ISS), are more realistic than ever seen before.

The film features several super talented actors and actresses in the  Russian film industry. Yulia Peresild , Milos Bikovic and Vladimir Mashkov in lead roles. Billed as a space drama, 'The Challenge'  beated Tom Cruise upcoming action drama, which will be released in 2024.

In the trailer, actress  Yulia Peresild  played a role of surgeon, has to perform a heart surgery on a sick cosmonaut in space because he is unable to return to Earth for treatment.  The trailer received positive responses from audience as well as critics.

Made up with a big budget, 'The Challenge' is one of the most anticipated release for this year. According to reports, Peresild and producer-director Klim Shipenko traveled to the International Space Station and spend 12 days on space to complete the film shoot. The film hit the theaters on April 20, 2023 had received good responses from audience.

The film which tells the story of a woman doctor has to prepare for a space flight within a month owing to some specific circumstances and travel to the orbital outpost to save a cosmonaut’s life. Russian Actress Yulia Peresild who gained attention of audience for her outstanding performances in the movie.
