Although he was initially a qualified accountant, Vijay’s passion for the arts led him to switch careers. He began his professional acting career in theatre with Koothu Patrai, a decision that marked the start of his remarkable journey in the entertainment industry.

Vijay made his television debut by participating in the 2006 season of the popular TV program Penn, which aired around 195 episodes.
