This Week in Bollywood Releases: Mardaani 3, Dhurandhar, Daldal And Many More

Bollywood is all set to deliver a power-packed week of entertainment with several much-anticipated movies and web series hitting theatres and OTT platforms. From the action-driven Mardaani 3 and the intense Dhurandhar to the horror thriller Haunted 3D: Ghosts of the Past and the gritty drama Daldal, the upcoming releases promise a mix of suspense, emotion, and edge-of-the-seat storytelling for every kind of viewer.

Gustaakh Ishq

Gustaakh Ishq is streaming on JioHotstar from 27th January. Set in the lanes of Old Delhi in 1998, the series follows Nawabuddin Pappan (Vijay Varma), who travels to Malerkotla to save his late father’s printing press by convincing reclusive poet Aziz Baig (Naseeruddin Shah) to publish his work. Disguised as a devoted disciple, Pappan slowly becomes entangled in the poet’s world and falls in love with his daughter Minni (Fatima Sana Shaikh), leading him to a poignant moral dilemma between love and family legacy.

Daldal

This upcoming Prime Video original is a psychological crime thriller directed by Amrit Raj Gupta and created by Suresh Triveni, releasing on January 30, 2026. Based on Vish Dhamija’s novel Bhendi Bazaar, the series follows Rita Ferreira, Mumbai’s newly appointed DCP, as she confronts personal trauma while hunting a cold-blooded serial killer. The lead cast includes Bhumi Pednekar as DCP Rita Ferreira, alongside Aditya Rawal and Samara Tijori.

Dhurandhar

Dhurandhar is a 2025 Hindi spy action thriller directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, released on December 5, 2025, and set to stream on Netflix from January 30, 2026, however the official announcement has not been announced yet. Inspired by real events like the IC-814 hijacking and the 2001 Parliament attack, the film follows IB chief Ajay Sanyal (R. Madhavan) launching a covert mission to infiltrate Karachi’s Lyari underworld. Ranveer Singh plays Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a jailed youth turned undercover agent who rises within crime lord Rehman Dakait’s gang, only to face a dark moral reckoning after the 26/11 attacks, leading to a tense and layered climax.

Mardaani 3

Mardaani 3 is the third installment in Yash Raj Films' female-led cop franchise, starring Rani Mukerji as the fearless officer Shivani Shivaji Roy. Directed by Abhiraj Minawala, the film also features Janki Bodiwala and Mallika Prasad Sinha as the villain "Amma." The story follows Shivani on a dark and brutal mission to tackle girl child trafficking and rescue missing girls, taking on a dangerous criminal gang in a gripping and intense thriller.

Human Cocaine is an upcoming thriller drama movie directed by Sarim Momin, featuring Siddhant Kapoor, Ishita Raj in lead roles. The film also stars an extensive supporting cast, including Zakir Hussain, Pushkar Jog, Ioannis Vamvakitis, and many more. The film is produced by Harit Desai and Chee Teng Joo under Scarlet Slate Studios, Vinelight Ltd and Textstep Services Pvt. Ltd. The film is produced in association with Goosebumps Entertainment. Human Cocaine is all set to release in cinemas on 30th January 2025.

Haunted 3D-Ghosts Of The Past is an upcoming horror movie directed by Vikram Bhatt and Manish P. Chavan, featuring Gaurav Bajpai, Mahaakshay Chakraborty, Shruti Prakash and Hemant Pandeyji, and many more. The movie is produced by Shwetambari Bhatt, Rakesh Juneja and Anand Pandit under Vsb Pictures and written by Mahesh Bhatt and Suhrita Das. Mayasabha-The Hall Of Illusion

Mayasabha: The Hall of Illusion is an upcoming Hindi psychological thriller film, the second directorial venture from Rahi Anil Barve (director of Tumbbad), starring Jaaved Jaaferi. The Film is produced by Girish Patel and Ankoor J Singh. The Mayasabha- Hall of Illusions, from the Mahabharata was a magical palace built by the demon architect Maya for the Pandavas. While it showed their power, it also led to conflict when Duryodhana was humiliated by the palace’s illusions, filling him with anger and jealousy that later sparked the great war. Mayasabha: The Hall of Illusion is all set to release in cinemas on 30th January 2026.
