Ratheesh Reghunandhan's revenge thriller drama 'Udal' released in theaters had received excellent responses from audience. Like a complete thriller drama, it featured actors Indrans, Durga Krishna and Dhyan Sreenivasan in the prominent roles. In the movie, Durga Krishna essayed the role of archetypal femme fatale had grabbed the attention of cinephiles. The versatile actor, Indrans has elevated many movies over the decades, but it was one of the finest performances of actor who never tried this one before on-screen. 

The film narrates the story of a young married woman, Shiny who is taking care of her father-in-law's. When the home nurse tending to his bed-ridden wife leaves, Shiny has to take over. Shiny losted her time to spend with her boy friend when she started taking care to her father-in-law. But things take a turn when another member in the family discovered her relation with another man and later it turned to become a revenge thriller mood. 

Udal was released in theatres on the last year, got an excellent responses from the audience. As per the latest reports, the film makers announced the OTT release date of the movie. The revenge thriller movie 'Udal' will release on OTT platform  Amazon Prime video in June 2023.
