Upcoming Malayalam Movies Releases In December 2024

Rifle Club, an action-drama directed by Aashiq Abu, is gearing up for its theatrical release on December 19, 2024. The film stars Dileesh Pothan, Darshana Rajendran, and Unnimaya Prasad in key roles, with a script penned by Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Karunakaran, and Suhas. Featuring music by Rex Vijayan, the film also marks Aashiq Abu’s work behind the camera, with editing by V Saajan.

Unni Mukundan's upcoming action drama Marco is slated for a theatrical release on December 20. Directed by Haneef Adeni, the movie is a spin-off of his 2018 hit Mikhael, which starred Nivin Pauly. Marco boasts a star-studded ensemble, including Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, Arjun Nandakumar, Durva Thaker, Yukti Tareja, Abhimanyu Shammy Thilakan, Ishan Shoukath, Siddique, Jagadish, and Riyaz Khan. Mohanlal's much-awaited 3D fantasy drama Barroz, written and directed by the iconic actor, is slated for a theatrical release on December 25, 2024. Adapted from Jijo Punnoose's novel Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure, the film will be available in 3D and IMAX formats and dubbed in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and English, promising a spectacular visual treat.
