Shane Nigam’s upcoming romance Haal is all set for a September 12 release in cinemas. Directed by Prasanth Vijayakumar and produced by JVJ Productions, the screenplay is written by Nishad Koya. The film also marks the Malayalam debut of acclaimed Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, with lyrics by Mridul Meer and Neeraj Kumar and a soundtrack and score composed by Nandagopan V.
Emcy Joseph’s latest Malayalam action thriller Meesha is set to start streaming on Sun NXT and OTTplay Premium from September 12, 2025. The film stars Hakkim Shahjahan alongside Tamil actor Kathir in the lead roles, delivering a gripping story filled with high-octane action, intense drama, and suspense that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.
Karam, the eagerly awaited Malayalam film from director Vineeth Sreenivasan featuring Noble Thomas as the lead, will hit theatres globally on September 25, 2025. Noble Thomas has also written the screenplay, with Visakh Subramaniam producing the project under Merryland Cinemas. Jomon T. John takes charge of cinematography, Ranjan Abraham handles editing, and Shaan Rahman provides the musical score.

According to reports, the movie is expected to start streaming on Manorama Max this September, although the official release date has yet to be confirmed by the filmmakers. Balti, a bilingual venture marking Shane Nigam’s 25th film, is both written and directed by first-time filmmaker Unni Sivalingam. Alex J Pulickal handles cinematography, and Shivkumar V Panicker is in charge of editing. The film is slated for release in theaters on September 26, 2025.
Anoop Menon’s film Raveendra Nee Evide, which released in theatres on July 18, is all set for its OTT debut. Reports suggest that the movie will be available on Saina Play and Prime Video soon. While the exact release date is yet to be announced, the platforms have confirmed that it will stream during Onam, which falls in the first week of September 2025.
