Valentine’s Day 2025: Malayalam Movies To Release In Theatres & OTT This Weekend

Antony Varghese Pepe’s Daveed is ready to set screens on fire this Valentine's season, premiering on February 14. Packed with action and drama, it will go head-to-head with Anaswara Rajan's Painkili and Arjun D Jose's Bromance at the box office. Marco, the high-octane Malayalam action thriller starring Unni Mukundan, is set to premiere on SonyLiv on February 14, 2025, making it a Valentine's Week special. Directed by Haneef Adeni, the film has been a massive box office success, grossing over Rs 100 crore globally in just 23 days, marking a significant milestone in Unni Mukundan's career.

Directed by debutant Sreejith Babu, Painkili, starring Anaswara Rajan and Sajin Gopu in the lead roles, is all set to hit theaters on February 14. The film is penned by Romancham director Jithu Madhavan, who is also co-producing it under Urban Animal, alongside Fahadh Faasil. The cast includes Aavesham actor Roshan Shanavas, Chandu Salimkumar, Abu Salim, Jisma Vimal, Lijo Jose Pellissery, Riyaz Khan, and Ashwathy B. Arjun Sethu handles cinematography, while Kiran Das is in charge of editing.

Director Arun D Jose returns with his second directorial venture, Bromance, hitting theaters this Valentine’s Day. Asif Ali's recent box office hit Rekhachitram is gearing up for its much-awaited OTT release. Reports suggest that the crime thriller will premiere on SonyLIV on this week. Directed by Jofin T Chacko, the film delves into a gripping murder investigation, with Asif Ali delivering a power-packed performance as police officer Vivek Gopinath.
