Vrushabha Actress Shanaya Kapoor's Journey From Off-screen To On-screen

Shanaya Kapoor is one of the youngest actresses in the Hindi Cinema. She was born in Mumbai , Maharashtra on 3 November 1999. The 23 years old actress is a familiar face among audiences in the inside and outside of the industry. Shanaya is also known as Shaanu, quite lovingly and cutely called out by her family and friends.

Born in a filmy background family Shanaya has passion for films since her childhood. She is the daughter of Bollywood actor Sanjay Kapoor and his wife Maheep Kapoor. His father Sanjay Kapoor is popular  actor in the television and film industry, and is best known for his portrayal Raja Patangwala in the super hit movie 'Raja'(1995). She has young brother Jahaan Kapoor, who is five years younger than her.

After completing school education from Mumbai, Shanaya who have decided to move abroad to concentrate on her higher studies. But she later dropped her plan and focused to move the film industry.

The actress who realized her passion for acting when she was a young child. She always find her happiness in doing challenging and exciting roles in the big-screen. For Shanaya, acting is all about living her passion for the art, earning is just a bonus to it. 

Shanaya is waiting for the release of her upcoming debut movie 'Bhedhadak'. The film which is directed by Shashank Khaitan, it features Gurfateh Pirzada and Laksh Lalwani in the lead roles. Touted to be a romantic drama, ' 'Bhedhadak' is produced by Dharma Productions. Before her first film, Shanaya already made a splash this year when walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra at Lakme Fashion Week in 2022. 

Before become an actress Shanaya was an assistant filmmaker. She was associated with directors Ali Khan AK and Sharan Sharma for the Biopic movie 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl'. Based on a real incident it told the story of India's First Air Force Woman Pilot Gunjan Saxena who played a key role in the Kargil conflict. 

Shanaya is one of the members of Kapoor family legacy and her father Sanjay Kapoor is  younger brother of actors Anil Kapoor and Boney Kapoor. She is the cousin of Bollywood star kids includes Sonam Kapoor, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Anushula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.

The actress is very close to everyone in the film industry. Shanaya maintain a strong bond with her best friends  Ananya Pandey, Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor. The beauties' are often seen taking out time from their busy schedules and having fun in the town.

Shanaya is one of the New-Gen actresses in the film industry and always grab the attention of audience with her quirky style. Be it traditional or western, she maintains a fashion-forward approach when it comes picking outfits. She effortlessly experimented with various looks, proving that style knows no boundaries.

On the work front, Shanaya is all set to make her debut in South Indian Film Industry in the upcoming pan-Indian movie titled 'Vrushaba'. The big budget movie, directed by film maker Nanda Kishore, features Malayalam super star Mohanlal and Tollywood young star Rohith Meka in the lead roles. Apart from them, actress and singer Zarah Khan also will plays a female lead role in the movie. As per the reports, the film will be released in the theaters in the next year.
