War 2 Trailer Out: Hrithik & NTR Jr’s Explosive Duo Promises Action Like Never Before

War 2 is an upcoming Hindi-language action thriller directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner. Written by Shridhar Raghavan, Abbas Tyrewala, and Aditya Chopra, the film is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe and a direct sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War. The movie features Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani in lead roles, with Ashutosh Rana and Anil Kapoor also playing key characters.

War 2 promises a thrilling blend of action, drama, and suspense. Yash Raj Films shared the much-awaited trailer on Instagram with the caption: “Get ready for the storm, the WAR begins now! #War2Trailer is out!” The film is set to release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil on August 14th in cinemas worldwide.

Kiara Advani makes her action debut in War 2, stepping into a bold new avatar as part of the YRF Spy Universe. Known for her romantic roles, Kiara surprises fans with intense action scenes, including a gripping commando fight sequence alongside Hrithik Roshan. Her powerful look in all-black leather and gun-wielding stance signals a major transformation, marking this as one of her most exciting roles yet.

War 2 is set to hit theatres worldwide on August 14, 2025, just ahead of Independence Day, and will release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. The film’s trailer was unveiled on July 25, building excitement for this high-octane action thriller starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani. 

A few days ago, Ayan Mukerji shared a heartfelt note on social media, expressing his enthusiasm by saying, “Exciting times ahead. With the Release of our Movie’s Teaser a few days ago, and 12 weeks to go before our Big Beautiful Movie hits Theatres, feels like the right time for me to share some thoughts…While our movie has so much to offer our audiences with its big-screen spectacle energy, today I want to draw attention to what inspires Me most about War 2…”
