Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas left fans pleasantly surprised after announcing her engagement during the opening night of her “Dream Girl India Tour” at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi. In a special on-stage moment, the Dhurandhar singer introduced her fiancé, Shekhar Chaudhary, to the audience, proudly flaunting her engagement ring and declaring, “This is my man.” The heartwarming reveal has since taken over social media, with videos from the concert rapidly going viral. 

Jasmine Sandlas was born on September 4, 1985, in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. At the age of 13, she moved to Stockton, California, with her family, where she continued her education and later earned a degree in Psychology from California State University, Stanislaus. Her early years were marked by significant challenges, as she navigated the emotional complexities of growing up between two vastly different cultures. In various interviews, she has openly spoken about her personal struggles, including the heartbreaking loss of her father and her journey toward overcoming alcohol addiction, emerging stronger and more resilient. 

Following a widely reported past relationship and heartbreak with Punjabi singer Gary Sandhu, Jasmine Sandlas turned a new page in her personal life. During the opening night of her “Dream Girl India Tour” in Delhi, she made a special announcement by introducing her fiancé, Shekhar Chaudhary, on stage, marking a significant milestone in their otherwise private relationship. 

Jasmine Sandlas rose to pan-India fame in 2014 with the viral hit “Yaar Na Miley” from the Salman Khan film Kick, marking her impactful Bollywood debut. Her powerful vocals earned her the Screen Award for Best Female Playback Singer along with a Filmfare nomination for the same track. Over the years, she has delivered several chart-topping hits such as “Illegal Weapon,” “Laddu,” and “Bamb Jatt,” collaborating with some of the biggest names in the Punjabi music industry.
