Jitendra Kumar, popularly known as Jeetu Bhaiya, is a highly acclaimed Indian actor known for his outstanding work in Hindi web series and films. An IIT graduate who made a remarkable shift into acting, he has become one of the most recognizable faces in India’s digital entertainment space. He is widely loved for playing relatable characters such as Abhishek Tripathi in Panchayat and Jeetu Bhaiya in Kota Factory. 

Jitendra Kumar was born on September 1, 1990, in Khairthal, Alwar, Rajasthan, and grew up in a modest middle-class family, with his father working as a civil engineer. He pursued a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, where he discovered his passion for acting through the campus dramatics club and actively participated in elocution competitions, winning several awards. 

Jitendra Kumar takes on the iconic role of Bablu Pandit in Mirzapur: The Movie, replacing Vikrant Massey, who originally played the character in the series. The film stays true to the original timeline, set in 2018, bringing back key characters like Guddu Pandit and Munna Bhaiya. Known for his soft and relatable roles, this marks a major shift for Jitendra as he steps into a darker, intense, and action-driven crime world. 

Jitendra Kumar’s acting journey took off when TVF’s Biswapati Sarkar spotted his talent during college and brought him into The Viral Fever. After facing early struggles and even briefly quitting acting for a corporate job in Bengaluru, he returned stronger and gained viral fame through comedy sketches, playing characters like Munna Jazbaati and parodying Arvind Kejriwal. He soon rose to prominence with popular web series like TVF Pitchers, Permanent Roommates, and Kota Factory, followed by massive success as Abhishek Tripathi in Panchayat. Expanding into films, he also made a mark in Bollywood with Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan (2020), starring alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.
