She began her career in 2012 with Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein and later appeared in films like Jai Ho and Ghayal Once Again. Now, taking a bold step beyond acting, she is all set to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, showcasing a fearless new side of her personality.
Ruhaanika Dhawan has been officially confirmed as the 13th and final contestant of Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. At just 18 years old, she is set to become the youngest participant this season, marking a significant milestone as her first major project as an adult after gaining immense popularity as a child artist.
Ruhaanika Dhawan was born and raised in Mumbai, India, to her parents Dolly Dhawan and Mr. Dhawan. She completed her schooling at an IGCSE institution and later graduated from Prabhavati Padamashi Soni International Junior College on June 21, 2025. Academically bright, she scored an impressive 91% in her Class 12 International Baccalaureate (IB) exams in April 2026. Fluent in both Hindi and English, she also picked up Punjabi, which she notably learned from Sunny Deol during her early film career.
Ruhaanika Dhawan began her acting journey at just five years old and has since grown from a beloved child star into a prominent young face in the industry. She made her television debut in 2012 with Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein, playing the role of Aashi. Her breakthrough came with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (2013–2019), where she portrayed Ruhi and later Pihu, earning immense popularity. She also appeared in films like Jai Ho, starring Salman Khan, and Ghayal Once Again alongside Sunny Deol. In addition, she made a reality TV appearance as herself on Comedy Nights with Kapil in 2014.
