Story
Ziddi Ishq introduces Parambrata Chattopadhyay as Shikhar and Aaditi Pohankar as Mehul. Set against the backdrop of Kolkata, the trailer reveals Mehul’s deep, one-sided love for her neighbor, whom she fondly calls Shikhar Da. Her affection makes her vulnerable, and her world shatters when she learns that Shikhar has died, reportedly by suicide. Story
Act I: Forest officer Arjun (Prithviraj Sukumaran) is assigned to a remote forest station in Kerala. Initially seen as a routine posting, he soon discovers unusual activities in the protected forest area. Strange disappearances of wildlife and suspicious movements of outsiders catch his attention.
Act II: As Arjun investigates deeper, he uncovers a sophisticated wildlife trafficking network operating under the cover of a legitimate timber business. Maya (Parvathy Thiruvothu), a wildlife photographer, becomes his ally in exposing the truth. Together, they gather evidence while facing increasing threats from the criminals.
Act III: The investigation leads to a high-stakes confrontation in the heart of the forest. Arjun must use his knowledge of the terrain and wildlife to outmaneuver the traffickers. The climax showcases spectacular action sequences while highlighting the importance of environmental conservation.
