ABCD 2 (Saturday) Two Days Collection At Box Office
ABCD 2 made a whopping collection at the Indian Box Office on the very first day and continued to mint money on the second day as well.
The film starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhudeva made the highest collection on the opening day in 2015, beating Akshay Kumar's Gabbar Is Back which had held the record by collecting Rs 13.05 crores but ABCD 2 directed by Remo D'Souza has not smashed that record.
On the day of release, the film opened well in all the major metropolitan cities, over all ABCD 2 had got 45-50% occupancy. On Saturday the occupancy rate increased as people rushed to theater to watch this movie which had been getting mostly positive reviews.
Even the social media sites where flooded with praises which helped the movie attract more viewers on Saturday. But the Mumbai city collection took a hit as people were advised to stay indoors due to heavy rain.
The film made a record by collecting Rs 14.30 crores on the first day making it the highest opener of 2015.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#ABCD2 continues its DREAM RUN. Holds SUPREMELY WELL on Day 2. Fri 14.30 cr, Sat 14.51 cr. Total: ₹ 28.81 cr. India biz. WOW!"
