Prediction:
Anubhav
Sinha's
next
most
talked-about
film,
Bheed,
is
releasing
in
theatres
tomorrow,
March
24,
2023.
The
film
is
based
on
true
events
revolving
around
the
struggles
migrant
workers
in
India
faced
during
the
most
sombre
time
in
the
history
of
the
human
race,
the
COVID
pandemic
lockdown
in
2020.
The
social
drama
seems
like
a
grim
take
on
the
pandemic
situations
in
the
country,
while
it
compares
it
with
another
horrifying
event
that
still
haunts
everyone,
which
is
the
Partition
of
the
country
in
1947.
Starring
an
ensemble
cast
of
Rajkummar
Rao,
Bhumi
Pednekar,
Pankaj
Kapur,
Ashutosh
Rana,
Dia
Mirza,
and
others.
The
film's
trailer
has
received
good
reviews,
and
its
black-and-white
approach
gives
the
movie
more
edge.

PREDICTION
Bheed
has
already
been
embroiled
in
some
controversy
with
its
trailer,
which
draws
comparisons
between
the
lockdown
and
Partition.
It
was
first
pulled
down
and
released
with
some
minor
changes,
which
included
leaving
out
the
lockdown
announcement
speech
by
Prime
Minister
Narendra
Modi
and
a
dialogue
referring
to
the
Partition.
Several
other
voiceovers
were
also
removed
from
the
released
trailer.
Meanwhile,
Bheed
has
stiff
competition
from
Hollywood
star
Keanu
Reeves'
actioner
John
Wick:
Chapter
4.
As
John
Wick
4
will
be
moviegoers
first
choice,
there
are
slim
chances
that
Bheed
will
see
any
major
foothalls
at
the
theatres.
However,
we
have
to
wait
and
see
what
the
extol
numbers
turn
out
to
be.
As
per
multiple
reports,
Bheed
is
expected
to
earn
around
Rs
75
lakh
to
Rs
2
crore
on
its
first
day.

his
thoughts
on
the

He
wrote,
"#Bheed

This
film
besides
being
an
important
document
of
our

is
dramatic

engaging

one
of
the
best
ensembles
since
Maqbool.
@RajkummarRao
is
superlative
in
his
portrayal

a

'in-charge'.
@anubhavsinha
