Gadar 2 Day 25 Box Office Prediction: Sunny's Film BEATS Baahubali 2's Earning A Day After Creating History

Gadar 2 Day 25: Sunny’s Film Beats Baahubali 2

The year 2023 has been quite a decent year for Indian cinema at the box office. After the phenomenal success of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's Pathaan early this year, the Indian box office is witnessing another tsunami in the form of Gadar 2.

Starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the lead, Gadar 2 is the much talked about sequel to the 2001 release Gadar and it has opened to rave reviews from the audience and the critics. In fact, it has been shattering records at the box office since its first day and now after over three weeks of release, Gadar 2 continues to be unstoppable.

After creating history and becoming the fastest film to cross the Rs 500 crore mark, Gadar 2 is roaring high on day 25 as well. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Gadar 2 will be minting Rs 3 crore today based on the buzz and the footfall so far which has taken the overall collection to Rs 504.17 crore. Well, it has managed to beat the collection of Prabhas' Baahubali 2 on day 25. For the uninitiated, Baahubali had minted Rs 2.90 crore on day 25.

As Gadar 2 continues a strong grip at the box office it will be interesting to see if it will be able to beat Pathaan's lifetime collection of Rs 524.53 crore ahead of the release of Shah Rukh Khan's much anticipated release Jawan which will be hitting the screens on September 7, 2023.

Meanwhile, Sunny is overwhelmed with the love coming his way as Tara Singh. Talking to Variety, Sunny said that he is on top of the world with the stupendous success of Gadar 2. "Now, it's become an Indian Marvel hero. Tara Singh has become a character who is backed by God and no other superpowers," Sunny added.
