Hrithik
Roshan
and
Deepika
Padukone's
fans
have
a
huge
reason
to
celebrate.
After
all,
their
first
collaboration
Fighter
has
managed
to
enter
the
prestigious
Rs
200
crores
club
recently.
Helmed
by
Siddharth
Anand,
the
movie
happens
to
be
an
aerial
action
drama
and
also
features
Akshaye
Oberoi,
Anil
Kapoor
and
Karan
Singh
Grover
in
the
lead.
Interestingly,
Fighter
witnessed
a
decent
response
from
the
audience.
And
while
the
movie
started
its
box
office
journey
with
a
collection
of
Rs
22.5
crores,
it
was
struggling
during
the
week
days
at
the
box
office.
However,
each
weekend
came
as
a
relief
for
the
film
as
there
were
impressive
spikes
in
the
collection.
Interestingly,
Fighter
has
been
holding
a
steady
ground
at
the
box
office
during
the
third
week
despite
facing
a
competition
from
Shahid
Kapoor
and
Kriti
Sanon's
Teri
Baaton
Mein
Aisa
Uljha
Jiya.
In
fact,
Fighter
even
managed
to
cross
Rs
200
crore
mark
yesterday
on
Valentine's
Day
(day
21/
third
Wednesday).
According
to
a
report
published
in
Sacnilk,
Fighter
saw
a
little
jump
in
collections
and
minted
Rs
1.75
crores
and
it
took
the
overall
collections
of
the
movie
to
Rs
200.9
crores.
Given
the
trend,
Fighter
is
expected
to
witness
a
dip
in
collections
today
(day
22/
fourth
Thursday)
and
is
expected
to
mint
Rs
1
crores
and
is
now
aiming
to
cross
Rs
5
crores
by
the
end
of
this
week.
Meanwhile,
as
Hrithik
has
collaborated
with
Deepika
for
the
first
time
in
Fighter,
he
has
been
all
praises
for
the
actress.
Talking
to
ANI
he
said,
"With
Deepika,
it
became
really
easy
because
she
brings
realism
in
her
work,
so
I
was
consciously
just
bouncing
off
her
bat;
each
line
she
says
is
coming
from
a
deep
place,
and
I
could
tell
this
is
real,
and
if
I
don't
maintain
that
I
might
look
like
I
am
overdoing
things
so
I
had
to
make
sure
I
am
acting
that
frequency
and
thanks
to
her
every
scene
between
Patty
and
Minni
look
so
extremely
vulnerable,
extremely
endearing
and
very
very
real".
