death
of

has

Bollywood
actor
Shammi
Kapoor,
who
was
popularly
known
as
dancing
star
of
Hindi
cinema,
died
of
kidney
failure
at
the
Breach
Candy
Hospital
at
5.15
am
on
Sunday,
14th
August.
The
79-year-old
dancing
star
had
been
unwell
for
some
time
and
was
on
dialysis.
The
second
son
of
Prithviraj
Kapoor
entered
films
as
a
junior
artiste
in
1948
and
his
debut
as
hero
came
in
1953
with
Jeevan
Jyoti.
He
had
starred
in
several
Blockbuster
Hindi
films.
Another
Bollywood
actor
Dev
Anand,
who
was
popular
as
romantics
hero,
died
of
a
heart
attack
at
a
hospital
in
London
on
Saturday
night,
3rd
December,
2011.
The
88-year-old
star
made
his
screen
debut
in
the
Hindi
films
through
Hum
Ek
Hain
in
1946.
With
his
good
looks,
melodious
voice
and
success
in
romantic
leads,
Anand
became
a
Bollywood
superstar
within
just
a
few
years.
Besides
acting,
he
had
also
tried
out
his
hands
in
direction
and
producing
a
number
of
films.
Actor
Navin
Nischol
died
of
a
heart
attack
on
19
March,
2011,
when
he
was
on
his
way
to
Pune
from
Mumbai
with
producer
Gurdeep
Singh
to
spend
a
quiet
Holi.
The
65-year-old
star
had
appeared
important
roles
in
several
hit
movies.

Goga
Kapoor
aka

Gomes
passed
away
on
2nd
March,
2011.

70-years-old

is
remembered

Singh

away
at

am
in
Lilavati
Hospital,
Mumbai

Monday
morning.

23
