Nargis Fakhri is an American model and actress, who finally became a noted personality in India aa a Bollywood actress but she made the most number of fans for her hot body than her acting talent.

Fakhri was born in Queens, New York to a Pakistani father Mohammed Fakhri and a Czech mother Marie Fakhri. Her parents divorced when she was six or seven years old. Fakhri took to modelling at a very young age and then she appeared on America's Next Top Model Cycles 2 and 3 in 2004. After roaming a lot of countries, Nargis came to India and posed for the 2009 Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar

Finally she made her Bollywood debut with the 2011 film Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor. After taking a long gap ,she gained success for her roles in Madras Cafe and Main Tera Hero. But more than her acting talent the actress is known for her luscious lips and killer toned body.

During her modelling days she has done a lot of photoshoots in bikini, but she has done more topless shoots than in bikini. The actress is often seen showing off her killer body in topless photoshoots. But most of her fans in India love her for item numbers, the latest one with Salman in Kick has become a rage and the actress too loved being a part of it.

She said, "I have been all over the world. I have experienced different cultures too. Naturally, my taste in decor reflects a lot of that."

"I love wooden things. I don't follow a particular religion. I am a very spiritual person. You will see a lot of Buddha and Ganesha idols in my house, though. I am very attached to anything that represents spirituality or a higher being. I pick up a lot of stuff whenever I am traveling," she says.

She adds, "I have never had anyone ask me to decorate their house, but I ended up decorating my own. I was living here for a year. I decided to paint the wall and get some furniture. I went online, I looked at magazines, did as much reading as I could and what appealed to me most was the more bohemian, earthy sort of stuff. I guess it's also because that's how I am as a person. I also look for an ambience that is peaceful, so I am drawn to whatever can bring that sense of calm. I read up on colours and the effect they can have on your mood and used that in my space."

"I like to wear jewellery, even though I like my look to be minimalist. When I go out for events, I like to have at least one statement piece. It always adds glamour," she says.

"I'm hoping someone will buy it for me someday," the actress quipped.

"I'm intrigued by traditional Indian designs. They are so beautifully handcrafted and the designs are so intricate and beautiful. I really prefer the Indian designs," the actress added.

"I come from a culture where we wear white for weddings. In India, it's different. But I really feel that there should be no set notions, and a bride should only wear something when she's comfortable in it," she added.

"It's something I am confident about. It gives me an adrenaline rush - who wouldn't want want to wear beautiful clothes and jewellery and look wonderful - it's a dream job for many," she said.
