After
some
lousy
films,
our
action
king
Sunny
Deol
will
get
back
to
form
in
his
upcoming
film
Naksha.
Naksha
meaning
'map'
promises
to
be
a
wholesome
entertainer
packaged
with
a
lot
of
action,
humor
and
pure
adventure.
Giving
Sunny
company
in
this
adventure
trip
are
Viveik
Oberoi
and
Sameera
Reddy.
The
title
Naksha
gives
hint
of
the
film
being
a
treasure-hunt
adventure.
But
producer
Akshay
Bajaj
clarifies,
"It
isn't
exactly
a
treasure-hunt.
But
the
film
has
a
touch
of
mythology
that
runs
in
background
in
the
flashback
portions.
Jackie
Shroff
has
an
interesting
role
in
the
film
where
he
plays
an
archeologist."
Naksha
is
directed
by
Sachin
Bajaj
who
has
managed
to
get
together
an
impressive
cast
in
his
debut
film.
Sachin
has
earlier
assisted
Indra
Kumar
in
Mann
and
Aashiq
and
south
director
Shankar
on
Jeans.
The
film
also
introduces
a
new
girl
Mridula
Chandrashekhar.
The
film
has
almost
reached
its
completion.
Only
last
8
days
of
shoot
are
remaining
for
which
the
unit
is
heading
towards
New
Zealand.
Apart
from
that
the
film
is
shot
in
Mumbai,
Manali
and
Bangkok.
The
audience
can
expect
some
daredevil
stunts
from
Allan
Amin
(of
Dhoom
fame).
Pritam
handles
the
music.
"We
are
planning
for
a
July
release",
adds
Akshay
Bajaj
and
when
we
prod
him
more
on
the
storyline,
he
explains.
"The
two
protagonists
in
the
film
are
in
search
of
something.
What's
that
thing
is
for
you
to
find
out".
