Just
on
the
heels
of
the
news
that
Indian
tennis
ace
Sania
Mirza
would
marry
former
Pakistan
cricket
captain
Shoaib
Malik,
another
news
is
doing
the
rounds
that
they
have
called
off
their
wedding,
bowing
down
to
the
pressure
of
the
public.
It
is
said
that
Sania
and
Shoaib
have
mutually
decided
to
part
ways,
following
huge
outcry
from
both
India
and
Pakistan.
The
activists
from
India
also
added
fuel
to
the
fire
by
holding
protests
against
their
alliance,
as
they
don't
want
Sania
to
get
married
to
a
person
from
their
rival
country.
Sania
had
earlier
said
that
their
marriage
has
nothing
to
do
with
Indo-Pak
politics
but
the
public
pressure
weighed
down
on
her
like
a
ton
of
bricks.
She
knew
that
she
owed
her
success
to
Indians,
as
their
have
been
morally
supporting
her
through
thick
and
thin.
It
was
earlier
reported
that
Sania
and
Shoaib
would
tie
the
knot
on
April
15,
followed
by
grand
reception
in
Dubai
and
Lahore.
