NOT AGAIN! Varun Dhawan-Alia Bhatt's Shuddhi To Get Shelved!
Shuddhi seems to be struck with some major bad luck! Will Karan Johar's so-called dream project ever see daylight?
The director had been struggling for months to get the right actors for his project; names like Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Salman Khan did the rounds.
Finally Karan Johar took to Twitter to officially announce that Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt would be the lead pair of his dream film, Shuddhi!
As the makers started to work on the project, they are finding it to be way too expensive on paper and considering how only few films have hit the 100 Crore mark this year, the crew is discussing the option of shelving it.
What gave wind to this fire, is the fact that Varun Dhawan who had stopped signing films due to Shuddhi, is suddenly hunting for prospective projects to do.
We are not sure about these rumours being true or not, but if they are, then Karan Johar will definitely be in a lot of pain! The director's dream project keeps getting shelved for some or the other reasons. Let us wish him some good luck for Shuddhi!
